Cultural Policy, Criticism and Management Research is the peer-reviewed eJournal of the Centre for Cultural Policy and Management at City University London. It is intended to reflect the wide-ranging, multi-disciplinary research of scholars across the arts, humanities and social sciences. The journal publishes original work undertaken by PhD researchers and early career academics.
We take ‘culture’ to include the visual and performing arts; mediated texts and mediation itself; museums and historic environments; the creative industries; policy; and institutional management. As a venue for cultural, media and arts criticism and research, the journal covers everything from cultural studies to applied research, from the pragmatic to the theoretical.
